MIDAS Designs ("MIDAS," "we") builds and maintains websites for small businesses. This page explains what information we handle and why, in plain language. Questions: ajspizz@midasdesigns.net.

What we collect

• Business information — for businesses we may contact about a website, we gather publicly available details: business name, address, phone number, publicly listed email addresses, reviews, and photos from public listings. This is business contact data, gathered to show you a website we built for your business.
• Customer information — when you buy from us: your name, email, business details, the content of our correspondence, and your website preferences. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
• Job applicant information — when you apply to work with us: your name, email, phone, state, your written answers, your voice memo, and an optional resume. This is used only to evaluate your application and is stored encrypted.
• Team member information — for sales representatives working with us: contact details, signed paperwork, activity in the team portal, and payout account identity handled by Stripe. Used to run the program and pay commissions, nothing else.
• Technical basics — a cookie that remembers your demo access code, and sign-in session cookies for customer accounts and team members. All are essential to how the site works. We run no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.

How we use it

To build, show, deliver, and maintain websites; to respond to you; to bill and pay through Stripe; to evaluate job applications; and to send service emails about things you bought (delivery details, billing reminders, cancellation links). Sales and marketing email always includes a one-click unsubscribe. Text messages are sent only if you said yes to texts.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate, and no one else: Stripe (payments and payouts), Cloudflare (hosting, domains, email routing), Google (email delivery), Anthropic (AI systems that help build websites and review applications), and Twilio (text messages, where consented). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Retention and your choices

We keep information as long as it is needed for the purposes above. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link in any email. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information — including job application materials — by emailing ajspizz@midasdesigns.net; we will respond within 30 days.

Other things worth saying plainly

• Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children.
• Websites we build for customers are theirs; this policy covers our own site and operations, not the content of customer websites.
• If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
