Terms of Service

These terms govern this site and purchases from MIDAS Designs ("MIDAS," "we"). Buying a website or subscribing to MIDAS Care means you agree to them. Questions: ajspizz@midasdesigns.net.

Demos

Demo websites are private previews for the business they were built for, gated by an access code. They are ours until purchased, and we may take a demo down at any time before purchase.

Buying a website

• The price is the one agreed in writing and shown at checkout. One round of revisions is included before payment.
• All sales are final. After payment there are no refunds and no included rebuilds; ongoing changes are what MIDAS Care is for.
• On payment your site goes live on a domain registered for you, with the first year of registration included. Registries lock new domains against transfer for 60 days; after the lock we offer to transfer the domain to your own control (while you keep MIDAS Care, we keep managing it for you until your plan ends).
• The finished website and its content are yours once fully paid. The tools, templates, and know-how used to build it remain ours.
• We make no promises about search rankings, traffic, or business results.

MIDAS Care

• Care is included with every purchase, with the free period and the monthly price ($99/mo) shown at checkout before you pay. After the free period it renews monthly until canceled.
• Care covers hosting, upkeep, and change requests to your existing site, handled one at a time, usually within 2 business days. Submit and track requests from your account at midasdesigns.net/account, or email us from the address on your account. Redesigns and new pages are quoted separately.
• Cancel any time with the one-click link in your emails; your plan runs through the period already covered and nothing is charged after. Canceling during the free period means you are never charged.

Payments and communications

Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. By purchasing you agree to receive service emails about your order, delivery, and billing (including a reminder before your Care free period ends). Text messages are sent only with your consent, and STOP always works.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow us to limit.

The legal frame

These terms are governed by North Carolina law, and disputes belong in the state or federal courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. If we update these terms, the new version is posted here with a new effective date; the version in effect when you purchased governs that purchase.
